hamano	post #2  on September 16, 2006 - 4:37 AM PDT   You get better picture quality, but more of the disc is devoted to picture data so there's no room for the extras ("making of" featurette, trailers, interviews, etc.) that you would find on regular DVDs. It should play fine on regular playback equipment. See this article for details.
