Okay, this game is going to be a little like the car game GHOST and a little like the car game Philosophers.
The host will think of a movie (or bluff and the host is allowed to change movies without telling). The guesser will try to guess by asking a yes/no question. The host will answer either "No, it's not" or "Yes, but it's not" and then name a movie that satisfies all the yes conditions (doesn't need to satisfy the no conditions). If the host can't think of a movie that satisfies all the yes conditions he can challenge the guesser. If the guesser can name a movie satisfying all yes conditions the guesser wins if not the host wins. If the guesser doesn't want to think of a question, she can challenge the host or guess the movie. If guessed correctly or host can't name a movie matching all (yes and no) conditions guesser wins. Else host.
The host can bluff a movie or change movie mid-game but must be able satisfie all conditions.
Recap: In a move, the guesser can A) guess the movie (names a movie satisfying all yes/no conditions) B) challenge host C) ask a yes/no question
the host responds A1) admitting the guesser guessed correctly (guesser wins) A2) pointing out the guesser's movie doesn't satisfy all known conditions (turn is redone) A3) come up with a different movie that satisfies all yes/no conditions (host wins)
B1) name's a valid (satisfies all yes/no conditions) movie (host wins) B2) fail to name a valid movie (guesser wins)
C1) Answers "Yes" or "No" and names a movie satisfying all yes (but not nesc no) conditions. C2) challenge the guesser (if guesser can name move with all yes conditions guesser wins; else host wins)
Now, the problem is we can have a bunch of guessers guessing a bunch of conditions at once over burdening the host or have the host challenging an individual guesser to satisfy multiple guessers' conditions.
So all play will be one-on-one and we'll round robin to get a final winner.
Okay. First: Who wants to play? |

Now, now. We're not playing yet. First I need to get a show of hands of who wants to play.
Oh, all right. I'm hosting for you. when the next person wants to play you host for him or her and so on.
Is it a sci-fi film. No, it isn't Star Trek: the motion picture.
Went to my local bookstore. They didn't have Howl's Moving Castle. But I bought a copy of the Spell Coat.

Yes, but it isn't "Birth of a nation"
So:
Yesses: Older than Catullus (who at 24, we may assume means made before 1980)
Noes: Younger than Cosplayer One protagonist Sci-fi
Films its not Star Trek: the motion picture Antwon Fisher Birth of a nation and oh, I forget.

Have you tried looking in your local library, woozy? I think they have copies of Howl's Moving Castle in the children's section. |

No, it's not The Godfather (from now on all movies I name must be made before 1980; a few more yes questions and the game get hard).

I'm not allowed in the library after an unpleasant incident involving a rare shakespeare manuscript, a pint of turpentine, a narcoleptic springer spaniel, and a dyslexic talmudic vampire. I really don't want to talk about it.

Second reference to my not being okay? I wonder what I implied.
Someday, I may tell the story. It's quite funny in its way.
