Okay, so I just watched two very different movies that had one thing in common. I only realized they had the one thing in common later. One movie is a fairly straightforward fairly well-known movie. The other ... not so much.

So, here's how this works. It's a game, see, I'm thinking of the movies and you guess the two movies and the thing they have in common. You ask yes-no questions and I answer them. First person to guess the two movies and the thing in common wins. Good luck and ... well, good luck.

Only one question at a time.

I'll take the liberty (it's my game, I can do that) of rephrasing your question as "Were they made before 1974?" And I will answer.

No, neither was made before 1974.

One is fiction and the other isn't.

(However the one that isn't fiction is very fictionalicious, but the one that is fiction is not at all fictionalicious. And that is what you get for making up words like fictionalicious!)

Wozzy,

Is it the subject matter that links the two movies?

No. (... although they both obliquely refer to wars that never actually occured but that *really* be stretching it... Not stretching it as much as to see they are both about people but almost ... these two films are very different.)

Wars that never happened???

Perhaps there is an element of fantasy or sci/fi? Well, for the fiction film anyway.
Alright I'll ask a real question.

Is the fiction film in the fantasy or sfi/fi genre?

Both movies have elements of fantasy. (But isn't that true of all films? But seriously, the non-fiction film has many elements of fantasy. More so than the average film fiction *or* non-fiction. In fact, I found the non-fiction film to have more elements of fantasy than ...)

... the fiction one which was, indeed, in the fantasy and/or sci-fi genre.
