Those of you eagerly awaiting a copy of Mona Lisa Smile will be happy to know that, thought it was shipped to us on January 12, we finally watched it today. (It was OK) And it will be in the mail tomorrow.
Anyone had a longer rental? (And why?)
In this case, whenever we wanted to watch something, we had something else around that seemed more interesting at the time.
This movie didn't turn out to be as boring as I thought it would be. However, I did notice that the labels on the "student files" in this movie set in the early 1950s were clearly done on a laser printer using Arial font...

Did anyone from GC contact you in the last 3 months, asking if you still had the DVD? |

| Wow, that's a long time. As a rule, I won't keep anything longer than 2 or maybe 3 weeks. I figure that if I can't find the time to watch the disc in that span, then I'm probably never going to watch it, and might as well get something I'd rather watch from my queue. |

Nope. But then it's probably not a hugely popular title. |

Yeah, I think this is many times longer than I've ever had something checked out. Though we don't watch a lot of TV or movies, and sometimes discs that have TV episodes might stay here for awhile.
But we did want to watch this, so it was nice to not have to worry about late fees ;-) |

| My humblest apologies to those who have had Blind Chance queued up for the past six months. |

Ah hah! So you're the one! No, just kidding - we have multiple copies of that one so I don't think you have to feel bad... |

| My longest rental was 2 whole months, initially because my bf wanted to watch it and then I lost track of it. |

Oops! Sorry.
I thought this thread was about extending a European car.

| ...I have something that was sent to me last year. Sorry. The thing is, I *want* to see the movie; but it gets lost, my spouse asks me if I'm in the mood to see a *really* intense movie (in such a manner as to suggest that this is more intense than, say, having dental work done without anestheseia), and I just don't get around to it. But I plan to this week. ;) |

| At last! Anyone who wants American History X should be able to enjoy it fairly soon as it is now on the way back to the fold. |
