Since I'm wondering...and probably because I've missed the threads they're on and/or the notices that they were on vacation...Where is everyone?

Sonja?
ahogue?

I take AFleming, sinisterguffaw, and markhl left GC?

DBhooer, NLee, IronS, khonfused, and shiori have been rather absent from anime threads lately! Tsk!

How has it been with y'all?

Oh well, if I can't get money together (every month) soon, my profile will likely be going the same route. ;P *mutters* Did you guys know that a 20 year-old trailer home pretty much begins falling apart??

Did I mention the (gigantic) roach invasion? Neighbor on the left says it's neighbor on the right's fault for all the water and dog food they leave out for their *ten* dogs. Whatever, the poison still isn't killing them fast enough for my taste.

Yes. May they find happiness where ever they've gone to.

Well, let me see: My new job is just busy busy busy. Most recent anime series don't attract my attention beyond the first disc. I haven't got the time to explore the land of fan-sub.... Maybe that's why.

However, I'm definitely willing to re-join the anime discussions. If only *somebody* can show me how to get my hand on a fan-sub version of "Another Lady Innocent"... (*wink wink*)

Actually, AFleming is still here. But we know her as someone else. In a leveraged buyout, sinnyG became a division of jross3.

Bats, you did mean "Roll Call" didn't you? Or this??

Lady Innocent, aka Another Lady Innocent, aka Front Innocent

Present! raises hand emphatically

Ditto what enLi said, but really, I think a lot of it has a lot to do with GC cleaning up the threads (especially the ones that go waaaaay "off" topic).

Of course, as soon as I post this, there'll probably be a boat load of discussion threads currently available for viewing and comment.

...yeesh!

Lady Innocent is available, but it looks like all the good cockroach themed anime shows are offline or unavailable.

I'm wondering if she's hungry and thought of having sushi, hence Row or "roe" call.

She might've been ...

And here I was thinking I haven't heard from Battie for awhile. I'm still here. Although, I will have to part ways with GC in a few months... :( Oh yeah and then there are those pesky summer classes I decided to take that will occupy my time in a couple of weeks.

I think she just means she'll be going to Japan... gee, first she's "homeless" and then she's "soon to be departed"... I say, "good luck on your adventures!"

Let's petition GC to create a "Zero-Out" account for our distinguished (but finacially-challenged) members. For a token fee of $1 per month, they can enjoy all the fringe benefits of being a GC member, without actually getting any movies. What do you say, underdog? Have a heart.

There's already a free "vacation hold" option... she's only gonna be in Japan for a few months, so when she comes back and finds a "home" she can reactivate her account, no worries! Just contact support@greencine.com

Yes, but will Shiori be able to post her adventure story from Japan while on "vacation hold"? And how about Battie's story? I'm willing to donate $1 a month to find out what happened to her roach farm...

Nevermind about my previous post. Here is a better option (Quoted from GC FAQ):

Now available: Buyer's Club plan - 0 DVDs checked out at once. Watch Video-on-Demand and DivX content only - no monthly fees. Fee is charged as each transaction occurs.

We know her as who?

Ack! It's been so long since I've been in a class room WITH a roll call that I couldn't remember. So, I thought, "rows of desk...Row Call!" SMH!

LOL! I'm on the "hold" version, and have been for several months. It's not that I don't want to get back to renting DVDs (I'm freakin' dyin' to), but everytime I think I have a little cash to burn, something stupid pops up. A roof leak, a roach infestation, insulation falling out of the walls (not fixed yet), cat has this skin tumor thing (which is probably benign, but I won't know until the next time I have money to burn), etc. >_:|

I'm going to fog Sunday. *sigh* If this doesn't kill the last of them...Then I'm changing all my SN's to Roach Queen.

Btw, NLee, if ya find Front Innocent to be any good, lemme know. ;)

I'm wondering if this feature (0 out plan) had been around last year, we'd be able to share in the tales that "JBellows" (another GC comrade) would be telling us now (from Japan).

Wow, Battie, your life could be a movie. Or at least a grade-B horror flick :)

Let's see: your neighbor next door is brewing toxic sludge, and has all the dogs to keep people out. One of the ingredients is a solvent you can't smell, but that breaks down fiberglass and other insulation. The cockroachs are there because they love toxic sludge, of course. Meanwhile, your cat sneaks past the dogs into the shed, then chases a cockroach under one of the vats, and a drop of the sludge falls on it, and gives it a tumor.

That's all a great setup because all your friends think you're about to go off to Japan, so they won't know if you disappear. So your cat begins acting strangely, and you start investigating. I just hope this isn't one of those movies where we see part of a woman's sneaker floating in the vat at the end...

Battie, no matter what you do... DON'T HAVE SEX in the house. Doing so in a horror B-movie is a sure way to get yourself killed.

Wow! If only my life was so exciting, hahaha!

Actually, those neighbors seem to be behaving lately. :D I can sleep again! *rotfl* About the only thing that goes right these days. My PDA and Windows stopped getting along a few days ago. >_> More $$ if I can't spank Windows into submission.

Don't worry, NLee, I'm so celibate that I'm considering converting to Catholicism and joining a nunnery. But you know, there's always a "nice" girl who gets offed in movies, too.
