I'm loving it so far. I think people skeptical after the amazing trailer in 05 would be splitting hairs if they tried to pass off any major differences.
The context sensitive character actions aren't as prominent as I expected but it's sufficient.
Everybody is excited over the graphics and that's great, I like them but if the game weren't worth playing the graphics wouldn't mean squat so I'm glad it's a good game overall. The script leaves a little bit to be desired, but they usually do. |

I want it, but my PDA has just gone bad. The little prongs on the charger plug-in bit have broken off (meaning no more power). So I'm torn between buying a Sony Reader 505 and two PS3 games, R2 and Killzone 2.
I have heard, however, that the controls are sluggish. Any truth, or just xbox fanboy hate?
Hey doozer, here's my ps3 id if you ever want a game of Mercs 2, LBP, GTA4, etc: Profane-lite |

Ok Battie when I tried to add you, it said you were unregistered lol. Mine is ohsupergirl, so try again? I never use it to play because we all just play on the same one (we being my roommate, his girlfriend, her younger brother, and me) so I'll try to remember to log into my own. |

Well, I was fired Friday night (I think in violation of FMLA and worker's comp laws, but I have to find a lawyer to find out). So no games for now, which is really frustrating.
My friend bought a PS3 recently. She's borrowing LBP from me and seems to be enjoying it (this from a woman who only plays Sims). The weird thing is, I've been thinking about the PS3 lately and how it's #3 on console sales. But I've also noticed that some people I play with regard it as a status symbol (ie, I can afford to drop $400 on the PS3 instead of half that on the 360). I've also been looking at PS Home and it has some potential. Apparently it'll eventually have the capability to play music off your PS3 in your 'apartment'. I've heard rumors you'll even eventually be able to screen films inside your apartment.
The question is...why isn't Sony trumpeting some of the PS3's better qualities? The Wii is only so popular because Nintendo ran a really good ad campaign. The games on the Wii generally suck horribly. You can't even use it as a media center like the other two consoles. |

| Anyway, I ask all that cuz I'm mad that the 360 gets all the exclusive content. GTA and Fallout 3 have already fallen to it. >:| |

The Major major problem Xbox 360 keeps having in the red circle of death that bricks their consoles almost all the time while my PS3 which i have had for 3 years is still working like its out of the box, people who have the system tell me that they have to buy another one when the system dies on them so they end up paying more in the long run because they have to get another one which is totally lame. I bought the PS3 because I knew Sony wasn't going to do me wrong in the quality category. I don't care for the extra content because as long as the system lasts me that's cool with me. |

I care about the extra content ;_; but one of my friends has promised to make my PC Fallout ready so I can have the extensions. He respects my Fallout addiction and promises me it's better on a PC anyway.
I like my ps3 trophies though. |

Teehee. Yeah, I'm told F3 is pretty wicked on the PC. Plus, didn't Bethseda (sp?) release updates to the PC that make F3 infinitely playable (the PS3 version has a cap)?
I like my LBP. And Resistance 2. :D |
