post #1  on January 21, 2008 - 2:35 PM PST   Reel13 is accepting submissions for its online short film festival. Reel 13 picks the finalists, then online viewers vote for their favs. "The top rated film will receive $500 and their film will be exhibited over the broadcast facilities of WNET and by such other means of distribution as described in the official submission form." The Davis Feminist Film Festival, "a grassroots effort of local activists, students, and faculty affiliated with Gender and Global Issues at UC Davis" is looking for "short films about social justice and g/local issues". Submission deadline is January 31st. We encourage everyone to submit their materials and/or vote/attend!
