post #1  on March 13, 2008 - 6:59 PM PDT   My oh my it is a task to sift through the plethora of social networking sites that pop up every day, but here are some that I've run across with an emphasis on film makers: Stream - as noted in GreenCine daily, "Stream is a new magazine devoted to filmmakers who want to exploit new technologies in producing, promoting and distributing their work," reads a note from the editors. The Auteurs, which "delivers great films from prominent festivals around the world through video streaming and downloading." You can create a profile and list your own favorite auteurs/directors and list what festivals you're planning on attending. Any ones that you check out worth noting?
