I'm wondering if anyone remembers those movies in the breakdancing 80's that feature dance off's. Usually what happens is that there is a turf war with rival gangs and to settle the score they do a dance off. Can anyone name any? I think this would be a fun list to make to satisfy my lust for cheesy or possibly brillant movies that feature two people or groups that settle scores by dancing.
I need your help! The only one I can remember is an aerobic dance-off called "Heavenly Bodies" which (un)fortunately Greencine doesn't have. |

How about Breakin'?
Or Beat Street.
Or get the whole Breakin' collection, which also includes the "classic" Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo.
These we just have to buy, and to request for rental. If there's enough interest to watch them we could get them for rental, too.
I remember watching one of them on cable not long ago and thinking they were on the one hand really dated and cheesy, and on the other hand kind of fascinating, and fun...
(Don't forget the dance off satire in Zoolander, too...)

For some reason I can't think of one example, except for the real life version that was shown in Rize.
Wasn't there some movie with the Fat Boys? There's Krush Groove, but that wasn't the one I was thinking of. I think it was called Disorderlies. Figured those movies would have such moments.
