I was inbetween GC shipments a couple of weeks ago, so I went into a Bl*ckbuster for the first time in a long time. There, to my surprise, I found several movies I'd been eagerly waiting for, in "Bl*ckbuster Exclusive" cases. These included:
A Christmas Tale Fear(s) of the Dark My Winnipeg
I was surprised by the quality of the films that were locked into this deal. I mean, it would be one thing to have an exclusive on Dude, Where's My Car II or something, but here they are holding up art films for the rest of us.

| These films are considered "exclusive" to Bl*ckbuster for a period of 6 months, then sales of the item are opened up to other retail and rental outfits. Usually these films are the ones distributed by the Weinstien Brothers or, until just recently, IFC films. |

Damn you, IFC films!
Actually, I guess it's not that different than having the films hang around the art house circuit for six months. |
