We've added a few fun ones from customer requests that didn't show up on the "New and Coming Releases" page on GreenCine Central. Enjoy!
Pink Eiga Films, including The Groper Train series, from the Academy Award winning director of Departures. Black Pearl is a nice blend of goofy comedy, light erotica, and mystery - I really enjoyed this one, with its wacky plot and goofy characters. Pink Eiga has trailers over at their website.
Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad, based on the super popular video game from Japan.
Carriers, starring Chris Pine of Star Trek fame.
Harvard Beats Yale 29-29, which Underdog is very excited to see, much praised on NPR and elswhere.
Sita Sings the Blues, a one-woman feat that is a delight to watch. The animation, music, and story telling are fantastic - wish I had seen it sooner! |

| When's Tetro rolling into shop, Weezy? I've been itching to watch it (not to mention my friend seems to have some odd obsession with Vincent Gallo and has been bugging me to rent it). |

2 new ones from SanGin Entertainment, a romantic thriller Stars Never Sleep and the romance film Life is Magic.
Also, an indie comedy that did great at SXSW, Artois the Goat, about a lab technician on a quest to create the world's greatest goat cheese! |

Two great new indies came in this week that you can't rent anywhere else!
Fowl Play was kindly donated to us by our friends Mercy for Animals. An extremely timely documentary showing the cruel environments for factory-farmed laying hens. For more info, visit their website Fowl Play Movie.

2 we missed during new release week that received high praise and are worth checking out:
The Oath, concerning two men who were part of the al-Qaeda terrorist network looking back on their past with strongly mixed feelings, and,
I Knew It Was You: Rediscovering John Cazale - nice synopsis from the LA Times: "With his odd looks, unfortunate hairline and shifty, slightly feral demeanor, Cazale is something of an emblem of American film in the early 1970s, what many now see as a second Golden Age of Hollywood. Had Cazale lived, where might his career have taken him? Would he have moved on to leading roles? Or was he always to be a supporting player, the wounded vulnerability he conveyed so well having destined him for a life at the edges?"
And also, from a customer request, the zany sex comedy Gosh Alice Goodbody!

| With the addition of "Mickey One" I was hoping to see some more of Sony Screen Classics titles here. Guess I'm specifically looking for "The Pumpkin Eater", "Hot Blood" and "The Juggler". |

| Without going into too much legal mumbo jumbo detail ;-) let's just say those archive collection dvds that WB and Sony put out are not that easy to be able to rent out directly and right away, but we're working on those... Thanks for the new suggestions! |
