My queue is loaded with foreign and film noir films that either I have shamefully not seen yet (like "Oldboy" and "Maltese Falcon") and others that I have not seen since high school/college (like Indochine). Today is a big day as I had not one but two movies shipped to me. Indochine and Tabloid. I have seen Indochine before but I am in love with its overwrought romance and the world historic back drop (also in love with Catherine Deneuve but who isn't?). As for Tabloid I am not all that impressed with its subject matter but I am sure Errol Morris will make it interesting. Now for the important stuff. Indochine was 47th in my queue and green. Tabloid was number 58 and orange. Yes it is true I do often get orange coded films. As a side note I want to point out that positions 40-70 seem to be the "sweet spot" in my queue as I seem to get those films the most frequent even though almost none of the movies are coded green. Have no idea why this would be *shrugs*.

I would agree that I am not competing for hard to get titles with most of you. While my movie taste would be considered "artsy fartsy" at that OTHER DVD mailer company I would guess I am well with in the mainstream here. Watched Coriolanus and found it interesting for the first 45 minutes or so and then rather boring. Brian Cox James Nesbitt and are both great in it however. Tabloid was fantastic and I highly recommend it. Invictus was too reverential of its subject matter for my taste but not bad.

JasonGWB	post #9  on June 28, 2012 - 11:20 PM PDT   I waited several months to finally get my copy of Close Encounters of the Third Kind on Blu Ray and it was broken :(. I sent the envelope back marked as defective but if I want another copy I have to put it back in my queue....I am having a sad. Anyway, watched Tokyo Story and it really had an impact on me. The first half hour I did not understand what all the fuss was about but by the end of the film I was blown away. All that disappointment and loneliness. For those that have seen the film I will say that I did call my mother the day after watching the movie :) Three disks were shipped to me today: A very Harold and Kumar Christmas (IN JULY!!!!!) which was ranked number 28th and coded yellow trick r treat which was 85th and coded green 8 1/2 which was 91st and orange (as I said I do get my share of orange films)
