I just noticed that listing for Lenny - which is a great, great film about a great, great and groundbreaking comedian and his slide into self-destruction as the system wore him down - and a wonderful performance by Valerie Perrine as Honey Bruce.
But I recall in my rather creative and often not trustworthly memory that the film was in black and white. The shot of the cover of the DVD is in colour. Does anyone know? |

Senor Larbeck, your member here is not faulty -- the film is indeed in glorious black and white. The reason that the cover is in color is... a mystery to me, except perhaps that color sells a film better than B&W so I'm guessing that's the reason.
But yes, Bob Fosse's great biopic is in smoke-filled black and white.

Speaking of Lenny, Gov. Pataki has pardoned Lenny Bruce, albeit posthumously. Unfortunately he's not around to respond! |

I know, that was such a great Freudian slip, I just couldn't resist leaving it up there, dangling, as it were. Ahem.
Um, yeah, anyway, it's your memory I meant of course, not your royal member ship.
Hee.

If the three of you don't have anything relevant to say on this topic, don't say anything at all.
*Hey, I did that all by myself! I'm so proud of myself. That was such an awesome self-reflective hypocritical statement (if I may say so.) Man. OOO, OOO, another one: I didn't mean what I said about you guys not having anything relevant to say. You can say whatever you want. Now howzzat? Hypocritical and contradictory! Bang, bang. Now, since the FOUR of us are starting to say things that aren't on topic, well...good. Can we get more to join in? And we need some hypocritical comments in here, too. Heck, let's make it a CONTEST. Let's get Hamano in here, too! He's good for contests.
