The hot one in this film isn't really a man per se... he's made of straw. But how he burns!

in one gay man's opinion ...

Takeshi Kaneshiro (House of Flying Daggers, Chungking Express)
Ye Liu (Purple Butterfly, Lan Yu)
Gael García Bernal (Bad Education, The Motorcycle Diaries)
Guy Pearce (Memento, LA Confidential)

Well, then, I'd say check out a film from when Antonio Banderas was much younger (why the heck isn't Matador on DVD?) or when Mel Gibson was much younger (try Gallipoli or the orignial Mad Max, or The Year of Living Dangerously). Who can recommend a film from Brando's younger days? Or something from the youth of Montgomery Clift or the hottest performance by James Dean... Brando, Clift and Dean will give you a better appreciation for where some of the hot young male WB stars came from, in terms of looks and coolness.

I recommend Montgomery Clift as the sharpshooting cattle driver in Red River, and at his most heartbreaking in A Place in the Sun.

Unfortunately James Dean didn't live long enough to make many films, and only two are currently in the GC catalog, Rebel Without a Cause and Giant, but East of Eden will arrive the end of May.

My top three early Brando choices are A Streetcar Named Desire, On the Waterfront, and yeah, The Wild One... whaddyagot?

See? This proves I'm about 25 years younger than Eoliano... in spirit if not the flesh...

I think the hottest actor ever to live was Gregory Peck. Especially in To Kill a Mockingbird. The second hottest was Cary Grant. It's hard to pick a best Grant movie. I guess in that regard he was more consistant than Peck. (I mean, Peck wasnt so hot in The Oman or Moby Dick)

As for more modern actors. Hmmm. Orlando Bloom seems to get a lot of my co-worker's motors run. Which reminds me...Troy has a lot of really hot actors. Even though it was based on one of the best stories of all time, it isnt otherwise a great movie but it does have a good story to work with and...well...lots of hunky guys.

Have you seen American Psycho? Good looking guy (this coming from a straight guy), chainsaw scene, Huey Lewis and the News scene, hilarious overly dramatic business card scene and a nice WTF ending.

Actually, a pretty good movie, I thought.

Personally I'm in love with all the women on "24." I can't speak for the 4th season though.
