I can buy him in prison, though!
I hope his research doesn't take him to any gulags, though, then we'll never see him again. |

| Anyone else starting to worry that Iron Man 2 will be more like Batman & Robin than good? Eh, I'm just being paranoid. Hard to beat the first one though. |

I beg to differ with you my friend, Did George Clooney research his role in Batman? I think not. Since dark knight almost got nominated and by consensus darn near won a best picture Oscar. I bet the actors are going to be bringing their "A" games to the set. |

Since John Favreau is directing, there's still hope it will be good.
But having too many superstar supervillians does sound like a recipe for camp. |

I think at least Mickey will give a decent performance, it's Scarlet who I'm most concerned about. Though judging from a quick wiki of her Black Widow character, I'm sure Marvel is more banking on the sex appeal of having her on posters in skin-tight black leather than her acting chops.
I wonder how much the sequel is going to delve into a more comic book style reality. And as long as Favreau doesn't put nips on the Iron Man suit, I think we'll be alright. |
