"Like many of the predominant art movements in the Twentieth Century, American Experimental Film, one could argue, saw its birth in New York City."

As a young person, Yoko Ono Lennon was my introduction to experimental film with a presentation of two of her short films on "The Dick Cavett" show.
One was the "The Fly" and had that buzzing little insect tickling and annoying an apparent nude woman for about three minutes. It was tastefully cut and suitable for boardcast.
The other, I cannot recall the name, but was time lapse photography of buildings being constructed.
Later, I heard of her infamous, "365", a scan of 365 nude butts, one for each day of the year. I have only seen clips.
Thank you, Yoko!
