Hi mstarn!

Probably THIS ONE? I haven't seen it yet, but I hear it's wicked good! It's on my queue.

Cheers!

Oops, it looks like Eoliano beat me to it! Too bad you didn't post this on the anime boards!

That's what I get for typing and watching "Mean Girls" at the same time...

Of course we could both be wrong. He might be talking about Nanook of the North, or The Polar Express. That would be pretty embarrassing...

I've seen "Fast Runner" and "Nanook of the North." They are great movies, I think Eskimos are the BEST. I also like it when Eskimos show up in William T. Vollman's books.

Are there any other Eskimo movies to speak of?

Have you seen The Savage Innocents and The White Dawn?

Don't you think Jason Scott is more believable as an Eskimo in Map of the Human Heart than Julia Ormond in Smilla's Sense of Snow?

Lou Diamond Phillips, Toshiro Mifune and Jennifer Tilly play an unlikely trio of Inuits in Shadow of the Wolf... why the hell isn't that available here in GreenCine? There's a Canadian DVD out!

Film Board of Canada documentaries featuring the keyword Inuit.
