Currently, there's quite a bit more to the manga than there is to (the current) anime series. However, the manga isn't finished yet, so if the idea is supposed to be bringing closure... I imagine that things are still a way off.

None the less, I've heard rumors. Mostly it seems like nothing more than wishful thinking, but I'm hopeful that as things draw towards a close in the manga a new berserk anime may be made...

I wonder whether the fans of the anime (the "Golden Age" arc) will like the next arc in the story as told in the manga, because it has a different feel and isn't nearly as strong. Most of the old characters are gone, and the new characters are considerably different. Now Guts is running around with faeries, witches and Catholics. Griffith has been absent for most of it, more an implied presence than anything else.

I personally really like the new characters and the turns the story has taken; but it's beginning to drone on a little, as if they're not sure what to do with it. I figure some folks who have a certain image in their heads of what Berserk is, or where it "should" go judging from where the anime leaves off, will be a little disappointed.

That's a "NegatoricioulousO", or if you take the first and last letter of the quoted word, you'll have your answer.

Hey, kohnfused, I'm confused. How can you be confused, or kohnfused, when the Sword of Omens is giving you sight beyond sight? Shouldn't you have a pretty clear picture of what's going on?

There's the rub, I don't want to alarm anyone....but the sword kind of ...what's the word I'm looking for... ah, yes... broke. Hence, I've been ........... ever since. The irony! Hooooo! best Hacksaw Jim Duggan impression
