bastengo	post #1  on June 4, 2005 - 10:31 PM PDT   I noticed a number of anime have a OVA portion to them, that seems to be a offshoot. Anyone able to tell me what this stands for?
NarcTed	post #2  on June 4, 2005 - 11:09 PM PDT   Original Video Animation 'OAV' is also used. This denotes the anime was released directly to video and was never aired on TV or shown in a movie theatre.
