They licensed Basilisk! Waaaaah! I was only up to #7. *cries* I was going to download the first fansub of Hikaru no Go, and couldn't find it...until I checked the licensed page.
Now I'm kind of annoyed. :P I'll be waiting forever for those series to come out here. |

I'm wouldn't be surprised at all if they licensed Trinity Blood. I'm worried they're going to license Tsubasa. The manga's already here. It's just a matter of time.
Not like I actually have the time to watch the stupid fansubs. I won't tell you how far behind I am on these two shows. Maybe tonight I'll have a little time... |

...........Me, too. >_> But at least I have all the downloadable episodes. :P Well, not Tsubasa. It'll be a few days before I download the first. I'm stuck on some other stuff. :P *feels the urgency* |

I won't be surprised either. When the first Basilisk fansub came out, I recall saying it was likely to get licensed, if only because it reminded me of Ninja Scroll. |

Hahaha! I have all seven out so far. But being new to fansubs, I don't know if they'll still be fansubbed. *cough* Of course, I'm only asking out of curiosity... |

Basilisk is an anime in Japan right now. It's been fansubbed for a couple weeks, but it just got licensed. By FUNimation, if I'm correct.
The series reminds me of Ninja Scroll in several ways. It's a medieval ninja anime. :P |

There are descriptions of all these shows in another thread.
The first description of Basilisk is at the bottom of this page.
Hamano started babbling incoherently about Trinity Blood here. More discussion follows after that page.
AFleming gave us our first glimpse of Speed Grapher on this page. And Tsubasa refers to Tsubasa Chronicles, discussed by both Hamano and AFleming on that same page.
Or you could just start on page one of that thread and read all the way through it. I think we covered just about all the new shows out on fansubs right now. For the most part it's a mediocre crop, but with a few pleasant surprises to keep it interesting.
I think my favorite show this season is Honey & Clover, which I would guess stands almost no chance of being licensed. |

Ha ha! Another group calling itself Okoi^Sugoi has picked up Basilisk. The subs for episode 8 are out on bittorrent and Usenet. They appear to have done a decent job with it, too.
Not that anyone here would do something as evil as download a show that's been licensed... |

| By the way, a good place to find, um, "hard to find" torrents is Tokyo Toshokan. It's just a torrent dump for Japanese entertainment and includes music, manga and J-dorama as well as anime. It also has non-English subs, so unless you can read Portuguese, French or Arabic I would suggest paying attention to the language of the sub you're downloading. |

Oh, me neither. Of course.
I saw that right after it went up. It was the first time I'd been to TokyoToshan in a weeks. |

Yeah, here's a note from AnimeOnDVD from last Sunday about it:
FUNimation Acquires Speed Grapher (05:24 PM EDT): According to an update at Anime News Network from the AnimeNext convention, FUNimation has announced the licensing of Speed Grapher. This is the second of three recent discoveries from back in April of domain's that FUNimation bought, Basilisk, Speed Grapher and Trinity Blood. Odds are FUNimation having Trinity Blood? Pretty darn good. |

*sniffle* Those bastards! Muwahaha!
But man...they are getting quick about this...finding the real gems. *sigh*
I'm happy to know that I can watch Loveless to my heart's content due to the moral attitude of today's Americans. *big, evil grin* |

Law of Ukei was licensed, too. :P Think hamano liked that one.
*it's a countdown to when it's officially announced that Trinity Blood is licensed. Those bastards!*
ArabDreamers, I noticed, also put out Basilisk #8. (Same guys who put out the first episode of Karas.) |

| I hate to be the jackass here... god knows I download tons of stuff licensed and unlicensed... but... i wouldn't say its good to have that attitude towards companies licensing anime. If American companies start feeling that fansubs are an even greater risk than they already feel that they are... it will be even harder for fansubbers to comtinue subbing after a license is issued. |
