Hi, I just signed up for the 10-DVD plan and have added so far 100 items to my "Queue." I have been with other rental service's however I really like GreenCine's interface. I was going to sign with Netflix however I found this place to be much more useful! On an anime note I have seen a lot of solid good series, some of the titles I own can be located on the website below. If you ever need some solid recommendations I will hook you up!

P.S. (I plan to only get anime while I am here, if I notice that 10 DVD's are to slow I will get a couple more accounts depending on how fast I get my DVDs!)

Welcome! How quickly you receive your discs depend on where you are and the availability of the discs you have chosen. Plus, if you have placed entire series in your queue, I'm sure you have used the Personal Series option in order to receive them in sequence and sometimes a disc or two can hang things up. Anyway, enjoy!

Whatever floats your boat.

You can definitely qualify as a test workbench. There are probably scores of people here eager to hear about how GC lives up to you expectations.

Good Luck!

And welcome aboard.

*.... ten to twelve hours!?!.... heh, heh, ... gotta admire that type of commitment .... don't understand it, but gotta admire it...*

^Well truth be hold I am only 22 and am living at home so I got money to spend. I make money by being a swimming instructor as well as a part time cook at a local restaurant. My day usually goes something like this, Wake up at 6:00 am, watch anime till 11:00 am go and teach swimming from 11:15 am to 4:15 am followed by cooking every other day from 5:00 pm. to 8:00 pm. Then I watch anime till 12:00 pm. and then go to sleep and the cycle repeats. This is of course till end of August when I will be going to college and at that time I will have to quit my jobs and really study (parents are trying to make me maintain my 4.0 average). During that time I will only really be able to watch about 20 hours a week and that will mainly be on the weekends. Hope I didn?t bore you guys to much with my life story?

How long have you been watching anime at that pace? Be careful you don't burnout on it. I almost did. It took Grave of the Fireflies to bring me back.

Any particular type of anime you like the most?

I would say 4 years I have really been watching anime at this pace for about a year now. I really like any type of anime except for heavy romance like Kare Kano, some parodies like Excel Saga (except some it really depends, and horror titles. Other then that I like them all.

Boy, you think you're an otaku, and then you meet someone who just puts you to shame. Ah, to be young and have so much time to waste...Those were the days. Too bad GC wasn't around a few years earlier.

Ha, another 6 months and I'll be forced to change that to the next decade. Believe me, it doesn't take many years to feel old once your out of college. I realize I'm not really old, but I'm certainly not 22 anymore.

I'm only 21 and I can barely carve out enough time to watch one DVD a day. Where do you get all that money if you don't work?

Will you trade lives with me? Please?

I just signed up too, some of you may remember me as Ayato back in the day. I switched to Netflix for about 7 months but I missed Greencine too much so I decided to come back. :D

Welcome back Ayato! We missed you, too. And now you're an Emperor, to boot! ;-)
