I've got vol. 1 of the manga and the DVD is in my queue. It sounds pretty good, but I'm reserving judgement on it for now...

Lessee... Right off the top of my head, I can think of World of Narue, Nurse Witch Komugi, Cosplay Complex, and FLCL (Naota's dad). I know there are a bunch of others (it seems like a lot of animes have a token anime freak in the cast...) but the degree of otakudom is not generally high. |

Ive watched it all, its very entertaining but the humor is well off as in not normal, As in something Id greatly enjoy but some americans probably wouldnt think was amusing at all.
I chuckled throughout. there wasn' a real point to the anime other than the main characters rise from shy geek to -> ?
its not a long series tho and is definitely worth a watch. The opening song to the sub-anime kujibiki unbalance is quite good imo. |
