L/R: Confused About The Ending

manuelvillanueva	post #1  on October 4, 2005 - 6:46 PM PDT   Sorry, I couldn't find any other topics on L/R. Okay, I just watched the ending of L/R (Licensed by Royalty). L/R's boss, "Mister" instructs Rowe to assassinate Noelle. It looks like Rowe was going to go through with it when he see his partner Jack. What tips off Rowe not to kill her? Also, if he didn't shoot her why does her clock pendant have a bullet hole in it? Some plots are so convoluted (maybe poor is a better description). I'm currently on volume 9 of Gundam Wing which has done so many 180's I can't tell what's going on anymore: Takes the joy out of watching the show.

I've never seen l/r past the first volume.. Second; Many animes and Japanese programs are notorious for not 'explaining' every little detail.. I actually LIKE that, because they expect their audience to figure it out for themselves..unlike American movies which sometimes, through action of voice over; literally GIVE you the answers.. because they don't think you have the brains yourself to put two and two together. Granted, to this day, I've still not figured out Urusei Yatsura Movie 4 :) But one day, I will.. I will. I can't answer your questions, but try scouting out infom on the web... sometimes you'll find synopsis of an entire series that can explain it for you. C

I also enjoy the way anime plots unravel in bits and pieces making them more interesting (i.e. samurai deeper, soultaker, chance pop session, r. g. utena, argentosoma, and chobits). I'll try the fan sites again for more info. Manuel
