Just an FYI to all you cats and kittens in the Bay Area that may be into going to WonderCon ( www.wondercon.com ), the dates are:
Feb 10th, 11th and 12th
Going to freeze my ccards in a block of ice and take no money with me this year. Yeah, that's the ticket.

What if the vendors' have a "free offer/buy one get one free" offer, if you sign up for a credit card?

Yes, it is at the Moscone Center again this year. Last year I had a very Longan's Runeque momment when I went in search of a bathroom and found myself wondering around a strangely deserted section of the center. If the hallways hadn't been carpeted, my echoing footsteps would have freaked me out.
I'll be on guard for the ccard offers! I must be strong. I don't REALLY need a limited edition model of the drop-ship from Aliens (although the APC would be really cool)
