Ok, I know this isn't *technically* an anime post, but I'm mainly talking to the anime people here....

Do any of you guys have a My Space page?

In high-pitched anime cat-girl voice:

"I do! Right here! Where's yours?

OK, I have to admit, I'm not that cute. How do you make a MySpace site anyway? I bet I'm too old to join, right?

Wow, hammy, you're really hot! I had no idea. Me-ow.

Mine is here: www.myspace.com/ayato4me

And I doubt you are too old, lol. As far as making one goes, there are a lot of sites that have code generators that you can use. You select the backgrounds, colors, etc. It was fun to play around with actually. I used www.pimpyourpro.com (yeah, goofy name, but it did the trick). If you search around, you can find ways to do all sorts of things. Another one that I noticed a lot of people use is: http://www.strikefile.com/myspace
Then you just paste the code into the myspace form (like in the "About Me" section or whatever). You can add video, music, etc.

Have fun and be sure to let me know when you are done, cause I'd love to see what you come up with!

Whoa, A4M-obasan, you're 30 years old? I had no idea... I guess I'm NOT too old to join. Who's Alix anyway? I like the picture of Bunny Hendrix... my kids have no musical talent at all, I'm afraid...

That's is my online persona. See, this way only the people who I want to find me can! Brilliant!

That's actually my little guy, Ev-kun. He loves making up songs. It's really cute.

And 30 isn't THAT old, LOL. You'll always be older than me remember that, heehee. :)

*hugs*

GreenCine has a MySpace page, too. Though it could use some snazzing up, perhaps. It's pretty new.

This is fun!

Ah, now I'm remembering when I was 30... I'd lug home a mammoth I speared on the tundra, and the missus would grill it over the fire in the old cave...

OK, I've used the pimp thingamajig to generate a layout... now I gotta sign up or something...

OK, after much fluffing I finally got it up! Ah, but now I will lose some of the exotic mystery of being Hammy!

Hmmm... what the heck is an "extended network"??

Lol. I don't think it's too revealing. I love that picture of you. That's great!

Myspace is SUCH a waste of time. Of course, I'm logged in right now. :) Some of my friends and my hubby recently joined, so I was pressured into it too. It's an interesting way to kill time. And I can email all my friends through it. And pretend that I'm cool and that bands are my friends. I used BlinkYou.com for my layouts.

And I have no idea what the "extended network" think is about. And I'm http://www.myspace.com/yowanda42 if anybody wants to look at my lazyness.

Yeah, I was pressured into it, too, by my "friend" Alix. I like your layout, Yowanda/Heather... it's easy to read the writing!

Thanks. That's part of why I picked it. That and I like purple. I think my favorite part is the "online indicator" on my page.

You look absolutely insane, Hamano. :)

That's the problem I have with a lot of people's MySpace pages - they are almost completely unreadable because they choose some awfully busy wallpaper to decorate it with. Making your background cluttered and loud makes it hard to see anything in the "foreground" - i.e., text and links. Glad y'all didn't fall into that trap!

Wow! This story just aired on NPR and now I can't get to my homepage to edit my account! MySpace needs to add some more servers!

That song Yowanda!! My (former) officemate used to listen to that again and again and again.... it's good though, thank god. I don't normally listen to that kind of music, but I catch myself humming that song...

OK, I got back in and edited my "profile" photo. I used the "Gankutsuou Effect" on my T-shirt...

I'm guilty of wanting an unobstructed view of Ayato Kamina's hottiness. Those pesky words must take a backseat to my obsession! The site is about myself, after all! lol.

Oh, I found out the names I put in some places like "Heroes:" and "Music:" and "Television:" turn into clickable links. Using that I was able to get a Cranes tune to be my default song...
