MMenke2	post #1  on March 8, 2009 - 8:33 PM PDT   It had the feel of a film made in the early 60s possibly set in that time too. possibly black & white A heavy-set man is the villain or one of them. He lives in a monastery and like a monk with a robe and hood. He might have had a name like Belial (probably not that though) Another man freaks out because he has a mark on his chest that looks like the pawprint of an animal, sort-of. Sorry thats all I can remember. Any ideas? Its not 'The Devil's Rain' more elegant and subdued than that.
underdog	post #2  on March 10, 2009 - 4:31 PM PDT   Sounds familiar... It's not Frankenstein's Blood Terror (aka Mark of the Werewolf) is it? Just a, er, stab in the dark. Pretty sure there's both a monastery and a marked chest in this one... Otherwise -- do you remember if it's a Hammer Horror film? That would help narrow it down.

underdog	post #4  on March 23, 2009 - 11:21 AM PDT   It takes forever to find it through all the search results when you do a regular search. but use the advanced search link under that -- it shows up right away. I recommend using adv search when possible, especially right now as we're making some tweaks to the search function and it's a bit wonky. Also, try searching keywords on the IMDB to see if the movie you're looking for turns up that way. Maybe that will trigger something... If you think of it, do let us know if we don't have it we can always try to add. Cheers!
