It had its moments, although there were elements that were just terrible. It deserved an X rating the same way "Whale Rider" deserved a PG-13.

Orgazmo was indeed released to DVD, it's just not available on GreenCine. If you enjoy the humor of South Park (or for that matter, their other project, That's My Bush!) and simply get a kick out of watching Matt Stone and Trey Parker being silly, this movie is for you. It's low-budget as all hell (with lots of it done on purpose - Ron Jeremy's head being smashed like a piece of cheap pottery, for example) and the humor is at times vulgar, but not at all X-Rated. It is sort of more in the vein of a Zucker film (hell, they even starred in BASEketball - which I admittedly own and enjoy). The only reason, to my knowledge, that the film was given its harsh rating was because it pokes fun at (yet doesn't condemn neither) the porn industry and Christian Mormons - not for nudity (of which there is probably a total of 3 seconds). The sountrack is quite funny, with songs performed by Matt Stone and Trey Parker's "band" DVDA. I recommend it if you are looking for an amusingly silly comedy featuring those South Park guys. Oh yeh, don't forget to bring along your stunt cock.

i only see it as a TBA pre-release... oh there was another version before that. hmm. this says the to-be version's coming out pretty soon, but why does he know?

the last version was an import, coded for region 1? eh?

It's still not out, is it. That sucks.

Who said it was rated X? I'm thinking maybe it was just not rated by the MPAA, since X is a non-rating and always has been a non-rating.

Yes. Yes it does.

I am keeping alive the hope that Troma will get to release it. After all, they did release Cannibal: The Musical and Troma's president and co-founder Lloyd Kaufman has a small part in Orgasmo anyway...

Not that I've heard anything of that nature. Troma doesn't have the rights to it. But they should. It would be grand!

hmmm... also if you follow the links in the Crap store it seems to say that in august they will have available a special edition of Cannibal the Musical on DVD. And at the same time a CD single of the song Shatterproof (which can be heard in part only on the Trailer for Cannibal but the song never actually is heard in the current Troma cut). But there is no info to be found anywhere about such a thing, so I wonder...
