Modern Asian action genre, (gang violence/undercover police?) released perhaps 2-3 years ago. It's been bugging me that I never took down the title when I saw the preview. Non-stop action. Fantastic camera angles (I think one camera followed a guy falling out of a window after he was shot) was what I remember most of all. I KNOW GC has the title, I just don't know what it is. Wish I had more to go on, but the visuals from that preview still haunt me today.
Much Obliged.

| Do you remember what country it was from? Any dialog at all? What movie you saw the preview on? Maybe you could check the Media Blasters web site, they put out a lot of Region 1 stuff. So does Kino. |

How about this. Anybody know of any lists of this genre. I'd go through it until I found it. It's NOT John Woo, just very similar.
Thx, R. |

| You could try checking out the reviews at kfccinema.com. Or looking through the genre lists here, you can pick "Foreign Language" and then various countries...it sounds like you'd want Japan or Hong Kong. |

This a complete shot in the dark. Any chance it was Tsui Hark's Time and Tide?

I think that might be it. The battle in the apartment complex is what's bringing it all back. It's already in my queue as I write this. Thanks for your help. |

The summary on this is good enough that I'll give it a try also.
Thanks.
