It was so sad when Kate Hepburn toured in "celebrity vehicles" near the end of her life, leaving images conflicting with the rest of her career (an early Zinedine Yazid Zidane Act of Self-Destruction).

What a great contrast with that is the new Deneuve-Depardieu opus, an exceedingly fine film that's opening in San Francisco next week: http://tinyurl.com/k8xtw.

What do you have against the animator for Monty Python? Or do you mean the other Kate Hepburn? Geez, now I'm stuck with an image in my mind of Katherine Hepburn head-butting Swoosie Kurtz on the set of "One Christmas".
