The relationship him and Vic have is just great. it gets better every season. how many other shows you know that do that?

I remember when they were going in pre-production a few years ago, I met a girl who was a makeup artist (here in San Fran) who told me she was moving to LA to work on a new show. She said it was some cop show called The Shield and it starred Michael Chiklis, "that guy from the bad John Belushi biopic." I said "uh huh" thinking, whatever, that show probably won't last more than a few episodes, but good luck! Shows you how much we knew! The only police drama on cable that's better, imho, is The Wire. You can't go wrong with either one. C
NarcTed	post #6  on March 19, 2006 - 12:56 PM PST   I really love The Shield. I rented the first and second season from Greencine. I ended up getting the 3rd Season from the local Blockbuster because Greencine still doesn't have it. I watched 4th and now 5th season on FX. It seems SpikeTv is going to show reruns of the Shield, so hopefully I can catch the episodes I miss there. I really liked Michael Chiklis when he was The Commish. That's still my favorite cop show, but Shield is a close second.
underdog	post #7  on March 20, 2006 - 10:03 AM PST   You can currently buy The Shield's fourth season here however (and the previous seasons), if you feel you'll want to watch it more than once. I think the one I'd want to own is The Wire, which is so brilliant...
