Yes, I couldn't resist. I just started watching Season 3 of Xena. I luuuuvv Xena. (Sometimes, I wonder if she's at least partly responsible, along with a few other things, of making me who I am. After all, when it came to positive rolemodels, female or otherwise, she's the ONLY one I can recall from before the age of twelve. Very pitiful, no?) Anywho...Some of Lucy Lawless's best acting went into the episode "The Furies." I think it may be my favorite...Xena goes crazy...I laugh my butt off. Does it surprise anyone that I loved this episode? :P

And then, right after, it springs a death on me! I nearly cried! I thought *he* died much later in the series. *waaaah!* I wasn't expecting it!!

TV Series I will eventually own completely: Xena, mebbe Highlander (mmm, Adrian Paul), South Park (because I have drone moments--and I like the social satire), The Daily Show, Mind of Mencia (if there ever is one), House, Roar (okay, okay--I like these cheesey medieval fantasy series that were common in the early 90s), maybe Battlestar Galactica (modern version, and only if the new season starts picking up), The Fairly Oddparents (if there ever is a boxed set sorta thing), Duckman (technically, I have it, but it's a bad VHS rip--I couldn't find anything of Duckman but that), Revelations (maybe), and that's probably it.

Am I just...wrong...in admitting that I look forward to the upcoming paranormal shows coming up this fall? I don't watch Ghost Hunters or anything...but I DID get a kick out of Miracle last year or the year before (and was quite put-out that it got cancelled and was, too often, pushed around so some stupid hour-long news specials could pop up).

Other Xena news... Personally, I think Xena is a fine name for the 10th planet.

from the article: "" Names for persons or events known primarily for their military or political activities are acceptable only after 100 years elapsed since the person died or the event occurred"

Thank god for little fishes! Otherwise someone would insist that it should be called "Ronald Reagan"...

Xena's an okay name. But I nominate "Drunken Shiori". We should have fun refering to it. "We are trying to predict the orbital phases of Drunken Shiori and trying to determine why she wobbles on her axis...."

Okay, Joxer isn't dead. ^_^ It was a weird episode. :P

You know, I think Joxer is kind of cute. He's totally geeky...but it's kinda cute.

However, I must say I really, REALY like a guy, Charles Mesure, who has repeat appearances (as an outload Darnelle, and as the Archangel Michael later). He's sooooo find. And hairy. *snicker* Full-on beard and long hair, and GAWD is he tall. And that grin...*melt* Soooo yummy. I'm gonna go by Blockbuster Tuesday (with a lot of free-rental coupons) and see if they carry any of his movies. >:P

Okay, now that my weekly drooling is through...what else is new? Oh yeah, I nearly hit my grandmother yesterday. >_> Whoops! I was trying to watch for uncoming cars getting off the highway, and didn't see that she'd stopped completely...I think I came a foot away from hitting her bumper. >_< I don't think she noticed...

*cough*
