The other Lost thread is getting kind of long. WARNING: this thread is prone to spoilers. 108 is the sum of Hurley's unlucky lotto numbers. Walt was apparently talking backwards: Listen to Walt's reversed message It wouldn't play in Firefox, but it worked in IE. What the heck is he saying?

Um, did anyone TiVo it? Er, and if so, is there a way to send shows to someone else with TiVo?

No, I thought not. Sigh. Damn writing workshop moved to Wednesdays screwed everything up.

My prediction for this season of
lost is after it began with my TV breaking down on Sept 20th, there will be a bizaar power outtage (the first since the brownouts three years ago) that only strikes four blocks near University and Sacramento between 8:42 and 10:17 on Sept. 28th. Then on Oct. 5th a friend I haven't heard from in eight years will call at 8:57 on Oct. 5th with a life threatening crisis. On Oct. 12th my mother will have health relapse and I'll spend all night with her in a hospital. On Oct. 19th it'll be a rerun from the first season. On Oct. 26th, the new verizon satelitte recievers will permenantly knock out my Channel 7 reception. On Nov. 1st I'll discover I'm Hurley's long lost cousin, and on Nov. 8th I'll suffer a stroke and lose all ability to form long term memory.

I think Mr. Rourke will arrive in a huge yacht and take up shop. The locals will all get jobs at his new posh island retreat (along with benefits, of course) and they'll all be wisked away in those cute little golf cart buggy-thingies... ...and so, a new adventure awaits the castaways of the "Minnow".

Okay, that made me laugh out loud. Although he was more creepy than cute in that scene.

Now I can hear both "press the button" and "where's the button" at will. The second phrase is more elusive, though.

Well, the TV Gods were listening - LOST's second season premiere will be rerun tomorrow night before the new episode. Premiere rerun at 8, second episode at 9. And I've TiVo'd them both just in case, so I won't come here and whine any more. ;-)

Yeah, but I will! My tv repair man came, looked at the set "I need to order a part and come back, maybe in a week or two."

So if someone can tape of DVD-RW them and this someone is someone I haven't pissed off lately ....

Oh, I'm glad they are replaying it. I wouldn't mind seeing the opening sequence of season two's first episode again. It would probably be cool to watch episode one and two back to back for that matter.
