I hate paying good money to nap.

Anybody see it yet? I thought it was pretty dull but I tend to have high horror expectations. Odd. I love horror, but I really don't like most horror movies. Go figure.

There's a mirror in my bathroom so I probably shouldn't smoke crack in there anymore.

jk

there isn't a mirror in my bathroom.

It was vaguely creepy, but not really something I'd want on DVD. Not horrible, not great. But I appreciated that it relied more on old-fashioned eek value than gore and splatter.

the first scene was good after that not so much

pretty bad acting.

I seriously laughed out loud at a few parts.

Like where he was trying to explain how the mirrors killed his sister and was incredulous his estranged wife didn't believe him... There was another funnier part but there are too many spoilers involved, frankly there were 3 really funny moments.

That said as a horror movie it kind of failed, wasn't very scary. Also not one good acting job in the whole movie.

lol damnit i just realized i posted a pretty big spoiler hastily and I can't edit...

Well its not that big a spoiler since it happens early but still Damn you lack of an edit/delete function!!!!

*shakes fist*

the good news is the movies story is so weak I dont feel too bad about it.

You actually saw part of that scene in the trailers, so I'm not sure it's 100% spoiler anyway.

I blame her because he was SO CONVINCING /sarcasm.

I think I know the funnier parts you're talking about but I don't want to spoil the movie...LIKE YOU DID ^_^

After the first scene I pretty much cried for the 11 bucks I lost and wanted to go home and watch House reruns.

I liked it! It's about 2/3 of a great little movie. I haven't seen Mirrors but I'm sure The Signal is better, or at least much more interesting. I know Scott Weinberg liked The Signal too.

Btw, re: The Mirrors, I was thinking it might be time for Alexandre Aja to make an ORIGINAL film for once, eh? Enough with the flippin' remakes, buddy. Now he's doing a Piranha remake. Sheez.

Yea movies here aren't cheap. This place is a little more expensive than most but I wanted to be near a Panda Express.

Not because I wanted to eat there or anything. I just have to be near one at all times.

I dont think I could ever live somewhere where there was not a panda express. It would be like living in a third world country with no internet or electricity or cell phones or hot water etc.

It's very possible that I would give up either one of those for some orange chicken.

For the record, she's orange and I'm sure cats taste like chicken. Hence the name.

Go ahead, while you do that I'm going to work on genetically engineering a chicken to hatch orange. Out of an orange egg.
