Has anyone seen this doc about The Monks? They are an odd entry in 60's rock n' roll. Apparently they were American GI's who were shaped and designed into The Monks by 2 insane German artist/designers:

Ha! That sounds like an an interesting documentary.
I've got Scott Walker: 30 Century Man queued up, which is a music documentary about another artist I've never heard of. |

There's mention of Iraq and Afghanistan and Bush. Did the Monks reunite recently? Or is this whole thing some kind of German conceptual art piece?

I think it either comes from modern day interviews from the band members or it was the film makers way to relating the "America in wartime" vibe that produced The Monks with what's happening today. I'll have to see it it to know! Any chance GC will pick this one up? wink wink!
