NOCTURNAL ADMISSIONS PRESENTS: TALES FROM THE BREADLINE! The first volume of a short film screening series made for and by young independant filmmakers opens with a diverse list of five short films made by directors under 30 on Feb. 2nd at the Millenium Film Workshop. "Bharatnatyam: Life, Breath, Dance" Dir. Amy Leonard 10 minutes, Mini DV One of the most traditional dance forms in India is shown through the eyes of a dedicated and passionate teacher. "Fourteen" Dir. Tim Kellen 7 minutes, Animation Three workers arrive in a strange town to deliver a mysterious package to Room 14. "The Polymath" Dir. Jay Bodnar 5 minutes, Mini DV A TV star survives a coma, being stabbed by a foreigner, and a battle with witches only to be lurded by a producer back onto the idiot box. "Final Victory" Dir. Rob Neilson 10 minutes, Super 16 B&W An alive and well Adolf Hitler drugs and kidnaps the President of the United States to use as a pawn in his planned rise to power. "The Ninja Only Rings Once" Dir. Chris Genovese 30 minutes, Super 16 Color A sociopathic pizza delivery boy befriends an elderly ninja with erectile dysfunction.
