Does anyone know how this works? I didn't see anything in the "faq" section.

BTW, I'm @ work, so if I hit the "contact GC" option, it uses my work email as a default to send. Which I really don't want to do. And I'm too lazy to sign into my regular email account and send it from there.

As Weezy wrote in the other thread:
We do have the ability to put your queue on hold, as Netflix does. All you need to do is drop us a line at support@greencine.com with the date you'd like your suspension to begin, and we'll put your account on hold right away. Just email us when you're ready to join us again.

We'll look into ways in the future of adding a button on the site that makes this a bit easier to do a vacation hold, but maybe we don't want to lose you to suspension so it can't be completely easy now can it? ;-) Anyway, hope this suffices for now.

As in terms of statute, is there a certain amount of time before you (GC) considers a suspended account to be totally inactive before deleting the profile/queue of the member?

Will we get an email asking us to confirm the continued suspension every so often, to let us know that our profile/queue is still saved in the GC database?

Will we still have access to the forums (i,e participate) once the account is suspended?

Hold on, I think suspended accounts last for 6 months, but am having a customer support person look this up for a more definitive answer.

doozer posted a response in an almost identical thread about this so I thought I'd just repost it here if that's okay with you (and her).

Account suspension does not expire. This means that we will retain your username and queue indefinitely, and your account will remain on suspension until we receive word from you that you want to reactivate your account. When you're ready to come back to GreenCine just drop us a line at support@greencine.com and we'll unsuspend your account.

Just to let you know, your e-mail was received yesterday when you sent it, and your account was suspended at that time. You were sent an e-mail as well so if you haven't gotten it you may want to check your spam folders.
