I'm a recent member and after I decided I was satisfied I decided to upgrade from a single DVD plan to a 2 DVD plan as I do not think that the single plan is worth the five dollar difference in the long run. This made it fairly frustating that even after changing the plan it will be nearly an entire month before the change takes effect. Though I do not think it needs to be instant, I would prefer the option to change the plan for the remainder of the month and pay the difference instead of waiting for such a long time.

Welcome to GreenCine, that1otherdude! You can have your plan upgraded right away by emailing support@greencine.com. We'll manually change your plan to whatever you'd like to upgrade to and charge you the cost of the new plan-out.

I emailed a change request to support@greencine.com requesting they double the number of disk I received and I got a "Case ID:21908" but no change in my account in 48 hours.

How long should it take to see the change?

You will be shipped out new discs to fulfill the number of discs alloted on your new plan the day after your request is processed.

I had the same complaint, but they fixed it after I emailed them.

weezy, where are you?

I sent an email to get my plan changed now and after several days they responded that they would change it next month.

Please advise.

I is more complicated than I first thought. I just noticed that they sent me a communication that it would be changed "tomorrow" and then they sent me a communication that it had been changed effective in January.

I apologize for the error; we're going to reset your plan again and it the change should take effect by tomorrow (and not January!). This error doesn't typically occur, and I apologize again for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Weezy, my new account plan has apparently been implemented. I don't know if I would or could have done it without you. Thanks

Now for future reference whenever there is a TV writers strike and a year end holiday season looming your marketing people could encourage people to order more disks. I think there is an election in 2008. TV will be even more dreadful then than it usually is and GreenCine can fill a need then too.
