Just want to say that I absolutely LOVE Greencine and have been a member for many years. Film selection is great, the Quick Return functionality has helped dramatically, I just LOVE GREENCINE

But, can you PLEASE take some time to go through inventory and clean up the system? There are many movies that are RED that I assume are just lost/broken/gone. There are also tons of movie that just seem to sit in a ORANGE/YELLOW/BLUE limbo indefinitely.

THANKS!!!!

Like, for example, OSS 117: Lost in Rio and Sita Sings the Blues.

Yes, i concur. I don't really ever expect to get a RED title, but I've had over a half-dozen BLUE titles in my queue that have been that way for nearly half a year!

C'mon Greencine powers-that-be...if you only have *1* copy of some titles, and they haven't been returned after a year or so, please save us the consternation and mark them unavailable already!

I can't believe you guys griping about six months.

Before I cleaned out my queue it had dozens of one, two, and three year old items. Even now I have at least one three year old that I couldn't queue up elsewhere. That last one isn't "red," but probably should be. It's yellow.

You missed the point--it's not just a gripe about the length of time spent waiting for a title, it's whether or not the color bar for a title is accurate or not.

Waiting half a year to receive a title that's been BLUE for that whole time obviously means it ain't labeled correctly.

Dogtooth seems to be falsely green.

I just wanted to add that I would also really appreciate it if the disc inventory cleaned up. There are many titles that are non-green that seem to no longer be had by greencine (possibly lost in the mail or by a member etc.) it would be great if you updated your inventory so we don't have discs sit literally yearsin our que for no reason.

I'd settle on sending out movies period at this point. Atleast we all know where the cancel button is come bill date.Shame, as for me the options are slim - Netflix won't take card or paypal. Not a new release only guy, so redbox is worthless.Don't have reliable internet for Hulu or Amazon.Don't have a local rental store period.Blockbuster doesn't have quick return, only max 3 dvds and I have no local store.Greencine before now, the only problem was the lost discs either way that happened on a near regular basis.

I am guessing it is those lost discs that cause our inventory problem, I bet they never update the rental database.

At the very least they could notify us what is going on.Will post what if any response I get from their BBB about this.Have posted on their facebook, emailed every email address found on the site, and contacted the BBB. Have kept the email where they offer a refund, and the email where they tell me they are shipping out today.

Can't promise anything, but at the very least contacting the BBB should give us a course of action.

I can only find 1 mailing address for them to write a letter. However, they have the same address for both Editorial/Promotional and Shipping/Additional problems on the site.So I don't know if that would lead anywhere either.
