I cancelled my account due to the plethora of problems that I am having (over 20+ days this billing cycle with nothing at all under checked out, greens being skipped, awful speeds in customer service report, shipping delays with nothing being shipped out).

However, even cancelling I am having problems. It is saying I need to return movies that i have checked out.Which would be all well and good, however they were never actually shipped. The movies I am supposed to mail back have been "released to shipping" for 3 days.

Add to that, I am on the east coast and only have a 10 day grace period.Which if they were actually shipped out, isn't going to happen due to no fault of my own.As it takes nearly 10 days alone for anything to get from me back to Greencine if it does at all.

However, none of the movies I am supposed to mail back have even shipped out yet.Nor is Greencine responding to my emails about this, so I have no clue what if anything I will owe.Let alone what if any of the 4 will actually be shipped out.

I emailed support (at) greencine.com the other day and I got a reply within 24 hours. I'm not sure why you're not getting replies. I would check your spam filter if it's been longer than 48 hours.

DVDs were finally shipped 3 days later. Now just have to hope it can get to me then back to them in 10 days.Would be nice if Greencine answered emails about this.As I do live on the east coast and returning alone is lucky to take less than 10 days.

They weren't shown as shipped until today but they were shipped the day they were released, I got the title that was released to me Monday in the mail today. I think the delay was more about preventing people from quick returning since the option doesn't show up until 2 calendar days after the "shipped" date. I'm pretty sure GC is trying to reduce shipping to 4 days a week and are doing various shenanigans to make that happen from week to week.

Figures everyone else getting a Greencine experience i am not in regards to both Customer Support and DVD availability.Being on the east coast no guarantee even if it was sent 3 days ago that it will get to me and back to them in my 10 day window.Won't answer the email telling me what the situation is about this. After all, I can't control shipping times.

Where will you go next?

Right now "nothing" looks to be the better option than Greencine.Blockbuster has a max limit of 3, and Netflix still won't take any payment option.

Still waiting for a follow up response to an issue from 2/25.Not to mention this return dvds issue.

20+ days with nothing in a billing cycle is unacceptable (my experience, they did nothing to appease me).Not to mention I am waiting for a response from Customer support 3 days later.

Add to it the mystery behind why i'm not getting higher up greens every single shipment.4 months I am looking at 1 non green title reaching me.

Not sure why others seem to be having such a different experience.Or maybe you guys just learn to ignore/deal while I am more vocal?

Now it is saying next bill date 3/29.Better not get charged because 4 titles took 3 days to show up as shipped. However, they won't answer me to tell me if this is the case.Nor will they tell me what i will owe when in terms of mail speed affecting when they get dvds back from me.

Do you live anywhere near a public library? Nearly all libraries have check-out collections of DVDs, and it's free.

I don't know about "shenanigans", but it's always a really dumb idea to quick-return before you even receive the disc in the mail - you might never receive it at all, and then what are you going to do? Anyway, they're not going to free up another slot until they receive that one back and get it checked in.

You might well be right about cutting down to 4 days a week (but how would I know about that? - the last DVD I've received was in January).

--BluffingJ, assuming that you are relatively near a library, most libraries now have their catalogs online; and I think most of those will let you place a hold online for pickup. Worth checking into.

Still haven't heard anything from Greencine.

The movies that I mailed back early in the week haven't checked back in.Greencine hasn't said i am on the hook $ wise for those yet. The titles that took 3 days to process, that I am on the hook for haven't arrived.Post in this thread says he got his but I haven't got mine.Another site experience that is different.Have to get movies I haven't received back to them by the 8th.

Is it just me or is it quite sad I can't even cancel an account on here without problems.Would be nice to hear from Greencine about this. After all it isn't hard to see that movies shipped to the east coast on 2/28 aren't going to make it here then back to them in under 9 days.
