No so....... If Greencine is spending a lot of money on old TV shows they might not have money to purchase more copies of popular and hard to get movies. I would still much rather they focus more on movies and less on old TV shows.

Maybe you should petition GreenCine to get rid of some deadwood around the office and warehouse... I'm sure staff overhead is a major expense they could devote to content acquisition. Do they really need TWO editors?
^_^

Actually, I still think adding just one more hub/warehouse isn't gonna improve service THAT much for MOST members. They should just forget about it and use the savings to increase DVDs and give comensatory rewards (extra rentals) to members who have identifiably poor USPS service. I'm sure if they tracked shipping and return times, they could come up with an algorithm to award such compensation.

But are they gay Pornographic Czech Anime TV series discs?

Glitter and be gay,
That's the part I play
In a Czech sort of way
Here I am in Brno
Forced to bend my soul
To a sordid role...

With apologies to Richard Wilber.

AHEM. :-P I won't comment on that last one except to assure you the "staff overhead is a major expense" is really not a big issue. Hee! But seriously folks, we are most certainly devoting as much as we can to increasing inventory where its most needed and desired, and hopefully most of you have already been noticing that, and/or will notice that more in coming weeks.

Thanks, and we love you all, too!

And he's a friend of Joseph Estrada, another famous actor-turned-president. But since there are a lot more famous actors-turned-politicians in the USA, including an actor-turned-president, I guess this can't be really considered unusual. There's a senator who used to be a character actor, had a bit part on Law&Order, did a stint in the Senate, then went back to Law&Order.

You must be talking about Fred Thompson who was in quite a few films before his stint in the US Senate.

Lets not pussyfoot around. What I want is a service that gives me exactly what I want exactly when I want it. I want a service that caters to me and only me. You need to rename this service SinisterCine and allow me to steal the rentals I really like, and ocassionally break the ones I don't like. And send me porn even though I live in a state that doesn't allow it, and pay my legal fees when I get arrested for it, and learn to read my mind, and stop listening to anybody elses opinion, and include a free pull-over fleece with every bonus disc I rent, and from time to time call me to see how I'm doing... you don't call me anymore... WHY DON'T YOU CALL ME ANYMORE?!!

I agree. I would be happier with GC if they catered to me. Screw the others, this is the New Economy.

Hey, GC, listen up, yo! If you want me to remain a subscriber, you'd better make sure my queue is filled. And bring roses. Yeah. Roses is good. Not getting enough of the personal calls to make sure I'm happy with my service. No, sir. I mean, that's what two editors is for, right? To call on me?

Proud consumer of tv and indie films from GC for a long while now but its getting moldy...send me the love. Its not about the bottom line, its about me.

My apologies to SinisterGuffaw. Screw him anyway, make sure any mutual items in our queues go to me first.

(And I demand raises of everyone that works at GC. That'll screw overhead but you all deserve it. The Customer hath spoken.)

Sinister Cinema is already taken. Their drive-in double features are pretty fun, with actual old drive-in intermission films between the movies.

That's... beautiful. Drive-in cinema is some of the greatest bad cinema in the world! Al Adamson forever!
