Personally, I'd like to see one where Alfonso Cuaron, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, and Guillermo del Toro argued monthly over what to send out. Especially if the argument was recorded and sent along. (I just saw their joint appearance on Charlie Rose)

But then again, Del Toro would summon demons and pans to scare the other two, and Cuaron would work in so many different genres he would confuse the others. But his choices might be the most nicely unpredictable.

LOL. Underdog's comment isn't getting enough love.

Going back to the topic, I'd opt to try a Sean Penn dvd club. You know, I'd love to see what some of my favorite authors like Tom Robbins or Gabriel Garcia Marquez would end picking.

For pure humor value I'd like to see what a Steven Seagal dvd club would look like. Something tells me you'd end up getting a lot of Steven Seagal movies.

Elliot Cowan. What can I say, his performance in Lost in Austen was awesome. Makes me wanna go read the book. (And I'm not one for 'old' books.)
