Through a misunderstanding and misinformation, my cable company made me very unhappy (no, I don't have Comcast, heh). I thought I was getting digital cable (as in, channels) and HBO for $9.95/month for a year. Not so. (I actually called and asked while the workman was here and was told I did.) So I cancelled, calmed down, then called back and asked how much it would be to add one tier to that particular deal. Ended up getting a new deal: all digital channels (no HBO/Showtime, etc ones though) and DVR for $10/month. So I'm paying $92/month now for cable, dvr and 8mbit cable internet. S'not bad, aye? I tried to watch Swingtown..just couldn't get into it. Maybe if it was all about sex, drugs and orgies I could have. Is anyone else going to watch the new Showtime series with Billie Piper? Is it just me, or does she make an excellent call girl?
