I may have lost this thread but I'm inspired to work on my arsenal of made up phrases that sound like magical commands.

Got this in my inbox:
Subject: Was the film set in the UK after WW2? From: SirenTiger Date: April 9, 2008 - 5:24 PM PDT No. It was set in the unnamed Continent on Dec. 31 and 32 in one of the last years of the Century of the Fruitbat.
Hmmm.... I think we have a winner! |

I think someone's being coy because he doesn't want to host the next game. It's okay, Hamano, you're not obligated. Just spill the answer already!
I can start another game. |

It's pretty fun although I may be biased because I enjoyed the book.
The same director made another film based on more books by the same author. Too bad it's not available on DVD here yet. |

... perhaps. I'm willing to be declared the winner except
1) I can't host a game 2) The Iron One gave me a *big* hint via PM when I asked if it was based on a book. (She said that I, in particular, should know this book. As there are only three books I've ever discussed with her, and I was pretty sure the movie was neither The Wizard of Oz nor The Joy of Sex, the answer followed.) 3) When I asked if it was based on a book, I was going for Children of Men (then Eragon, then ...)
And so ends this edition of Guess the Movie! You do the next one undiedog, because I'm supposed to be doin' my taxes instead of procrastinating here. Just that I got a personal invite to play this one and couldn't pass it up. Mebbe I'll do one next week after tax day. |

How can one not be able to post on boards and yet be allowed to SPAM via PM? Humph! |

Neat!
My girlfriend loves everything Terry Pratchett and enjoyed this one over the XMas holidays. The first decent Pratchett adaptation that I've seen.
Okay, I can host another game - probably not til tonight or tomorrow AM though.
Thanks for hosting IronS! And thanks for winning, Hamano. Good luck with Uncle Sam there. |

Singulair:
'March 27, 2008 -- The FDA today announced that it is working with the drug company Merck to investigate a possible link between Merck's asthma and allergy drug Singulair and behavior/mood changes, suicidality (suicidal thinking and behavior), and suicide.' |

Oh, man, I've got my taxes done, but the weather warmed up and all of a sudden the cherries and other trees are flowering in unison. I'm down with major hay fever. I'll think about it by my mind is major clouded right now.... I can hardly read this screen...
