Anyone watch Scott Pilgrim? High-art it is not, but I found it to be a fun and thoroughly enjoyable experience.
In some way that film is the perfect ode to the current ADD-riddled generation. |

Hmm? What's that you were saying? I was busy playing a game on my computer, while tweeting and watching cartoons on TV while brushing the cat and drinking coffee and then tweeting all of that and... wait, what?
;-) I'm going to see it beginning of next week, looking forward! |

I think the movie was fantastic. A superb soundtrack and amazing visuals lay the groundwork for an excellent rehashing of the comic's story.
As a fan of the comic, I was naturally worried that the general feel of such an amazing world would be lost in the transfer to live media, but instead it was somehow enhanced. Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World's perfect blending of our world and that of video game logic presents an amazing audiovisual experience. The translation of the characters from ink to screen was fantastic, even Cera's Pilgrim is spot on when compared with O'Malley's original.
I cannot remember a movie I actually enjoyed watching as much as I did Scott Pilgrim. |

It always makes me happy when a film translation succeeds in doing justice to the beloved source material, while also working for those unfamiliar with the adapted work.
I had a ton of fun with that film. Watching it, you could tell it was exactly what it wanted to be. |

Maybe this weekend if I can find anyone to go with.
I saw Scott Pilgrim when it opened. Very amusing. Dug the soundtrack way more than I thought it would. I wonder if it could be classified as half-musical. Also: Wallace is the best side-kick ever. |

| Neil Marshall's Centurion opens in limited release Friday. I'm going to go see it. Imogen Poots (the big-eyed girl from 28 Weeks Later) and Michael Fassbender are in it. I'm pretty certain that with this film, I can connect over half of my favorite movies and actors from the past few years. It's like Six Degrees of Stuff I Love. |

| Plus, Centurion has McNulty from "The Wire," playing a Roman general! How can you lose? |
