The guy with the eyebrows to rival Jack Black's is Rudolf Klein-Rogge as Rotwang, one of cinema's great mad scientists (though Rotwang isn't all that mad, actually). He's the one who transforms the robot into the 'bad' Maria so that.... well, it's a long story.

Your icon is one of my faves too, we need some more German expressionism-themed icons, maybe someone else can be the robot or Dr. Caligari or Nosferatu, or maybe Klein-Rogge as Attila the Hun in Lang's Die Niebelunger.

Reminds me of the Simpsons episode where a magic hammock was creating an army of Homer clones. "Mmmmmm.... Do n u t s......."
A doughnut icon would be good, a nice companion for postmod

I think mine speaks for itself.

(in rhymes, even.)

Actually, it's a picture of our family dog when I was growing up. He was quite the cut-up, that one.

Mine is Pedro, from the Excel Saga, at a time he realizes that Fate is not treating him as kindly as she might.

My Buster Keaton icon is from a short called The Blacksmith, which I think is included on this DVD.

That is one ferocious look, isn't it? Definitely tops Rotwang's eyebrows.

Mine reflects my love of retina burning colours and the cute little girl inside me who love to levitate things.

Dude, if this makes no sense - do not rent "The Animatrix" - go BUY IT! It is the one special DVD of 2003 that you just HAD to buy - at least until the Special Expanded/Extended megaversion of the "The Two Towers" is out.

it's really good if you dont think about what it really is. i never used to eat it when i was a kid but i do eat it now. my bf who doesnt eat anything unusual loved that stuff when i first had him taste it, but when he found out what it was he won't touch it. it's all in the head.

oh and that sweet bread you eat it with is a rice cake called puto. not to be confused with the other word.

and my icon is self explanatory. :)

> ---------------------------------

You're welcome, hamano! Just for that, I think I'll keep my icon for a little while longer. ;-p IronS has a good eye -- my icon is indeed Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha's elder brother and rival and an ultra-cool bad guy. I loved that moon so decided to live with Sesshoumaru being a bit fuzzy.

Maybe my future icon should be a monkey doughnut with wings. Or perhaps a petit four frog since I miss dpowers' frog so much.

Mmmm...dinuguan and puto...now I gotta have some! Is this dish related to holiday celebrations, or can you eat it any time?

I also like English Black Pudding and French Boudin du Pays so I knew exactly what dinuguan was made of when I was eating it.

I believe Korean Soonday sausage is also made with blood. My apologies if there are any Jehovah's Witnesses reading this post.

hneline1, besides going cross-eyed staring at your icon, I'm also often tongue tied from trying to pronounce your member name!

You can eat it anytime.

Oh and yeah hneline1 is the DDR queen of the office (well, besides maigochan of course!) so her new icon is appropriate. :)

Wow, DDR is Dance Dance Revolution, right? Anyone got a digicam? I predict, next week's top VOD title at GreenCine -

DDR Showdown
hneline1 VS. maigochan!!!

Mmm, was he "humble yet lovable, too"? I do believe that Underdog was the pinnacle of Wally Cox's career! Is it on DVD yet?

Wasn't Mr. Peepers the pinnacle of his career?

Wow, according to this, Wally Cox was once roommates with Marlon Brando and Brando was the one who scattered Wally Cox's ashes after Wally died!?

It is indeed!

Actually there are three discs, you can search for the other two. They are fun, a bit dated now of course but still a good cure for those nostalgia blues. And will make you want to take in rhyme, all of the time!

um, my money would be on maigochan too... in my case, there's a difference between being extremely enthusiastic and having any real skill at it... ;-p

But I think the REAL match would be between

Maigochan VS Ashram!!!

it would be a close call, but when ashram keeps talking about lovin' those 1/8 steps and playing for 6 hours straight just because, we have to start talking about a different level of player...

underdog, get the DV camcorder! The GreenCine DDR Finals: Maigochan VS Ashram (with hneline1 as the dark-horse spoiler) will be your most profitable VOD!

At the very least it will be a good SAMPLE/TEST VOD clip and a welcome treat for members who are too far away to attend stuff like Trivia Night... I've seen kids doing DDR in malls and stuff in Japan, but not so called "adults"!
