Shadowmind	post #22  on April 7, 2005 - 7:05 PM PDT   Our film was shot on 3CCD mini-dv (Sony VX2000 and VX2100). We also used a black pro mist grad 1. A heavy amount was color corrected and the contrast was ajusted in post. Armageddonbound	post #23  on August 15, 2005 - 10:11 PM PDT   It depends on the person. If you buy a good dv cam with 24p for about 4k you can get a lot of practice and experience in. Not to mention get some nice stuff done as long as its not blown up for the big screen. If you do not need those things, are 100% ready to spend money on a bigger shoot, and confident in your camera/directing skills then dont bother with the dv, rent a HD or even super16.
