No playing, just eating. Besides, did the group look avant-garde at all? |

Was that the intent? Some people and things seem to take on whole new...personalities when feeding...
If you mean The Plastic Ono Band, only in the literal sense. |

| For the record, The HAMster (to fall back on an old moniker) is a foot shorter than my last boyfriend. HOWEVER my ex was taller than average hence the "somewhat-bigger" qualifier for "pipsqueak" ("tubal ligation" indeed). |

If we're talking about the BIGGEST ASS from an internal perspective, I think the biggest on record is the 27 foot long colon preserved at the Mtter Museum in Philadelphia.... |

Sorry to interrupt the flow from the enema to the gigantic colon, but whatever happened to... Suzy Gilstap and Geri Jewel? Happily, Jewel has reappeared as the Gimp on Deadwood!
Don't know what made me think of them. Maybe it was the reference to the Olympics which made me think of the Special Olympics.
Anyway, sorry in advance for the incorrectness of my post, and for interloping.
Sorry. |

No apology is necessary because political incorrectness and interloping are the norm around here.
Btw, whatever happened to... IVLIA? |

Yes, getting us back on topic here...
Whatever happened to...
Patrick Swayze? (I saw him in Donnie Darko, but what else?)
And are you dying to know whatever happened to Joyce DeWitt? Here's a fine answer.
Ralph Macchio?
Radar O'Reilly?
While we're wondering, whatever happened to.. Dennis Kucinich? Poor guy.

He made a damn fine speech at the Democratic Convention. Way over-shadowed by the also fine speech by Al Sharpton, but it was a very moving speech, nonetheless.

Yah, I saw it, too. It was fine indeed. I was sort of joking, or referring to the very fact that he was over-shadowed and over-looked. This country's probably not ready for someone as smart, decent, honorable as he, and who dresses like a hippie Mister Rogers.

Narnia, eh? Oz is better. (The lions know their places and aren't so preachy.) Course us woozes in the real world live in no such ideal conditions. (Hence the back to the kitchen thread)
Uh, who the heck is IVLIA?
(Hooray, My Icon is back.)

hey, y'all. long time no see and such. (moved to ny, put my account on hiatus while doing the apartment sublet hop of doom and looking for ways to pay for aforementioned sublets. and yet, where is the person asking whatever happened to me? : P )
anyway, i had been wondering what happened to karyn kusama, whose "girlfight" i liked very much despite impossibly gushy reviews which tend to discourage perverse and easily influenced me. but i saw this today, and it has me all a-flutter.
and as for ally sheedy, i know she was in the pre-film off-broadway production of "hedwig and the angry inch," as hedwig (!). apparently has been fighting drug addictions for a while, and a bad review from the times sent her into spectacular can't-bring-yourself-to-look-away meltdown. that was a few years ago, tho, dunno where she is now.
and now for a hopelessly self-promotional tangent: if anyone needs more entertainment at work, i've just started writing a blog for the independent film channel here. the design and name are terrible and not my doing, i swear...and it's certainly no gc daily--think dumber, and meaner spirited, like middle school. but i hope someone or other will check it out, as at the moment i don't know that anyone's reading it, and it's giving me existential crises--if you write a blog and no one reads it, does it really exist? and such. |

Perhaps it is a matter of perception. Your readers might be too perplexed to respond...

Hi hamano. IVLIA doesn't exist, just like postmod's blog if no one reads it. But I, as IVLIA's evil pancake twin, thank you for the welcome (back).
Hi postmod: Gluten Morgen! It is better with butter, isn't it? |

Everything is better with butter. And bacon.
