underdog	post #1  on November 30, 2010 - 9:03 AM PST   the Indie Spirit Award noms are out! Can carp about this or that but some great films here. How many have you seen?

Worth a watch. I really liked Get Low even if dramatically it's not quite a great film. And Winter's Bone is one of the year's best.

Cinenaut	post #6  on December 3, 2010 - 9:23 AM PST   Yeah, I hope to see "Black Swan" as well. I couldn't care less about ballet, but with this cast and crew it's hard to pass up. There is supposed to be a preview for Terrence Malick's "Tree of Life," too!

Yeah a film critic I know was complaining rightly so about an invite he received to go see a new extended trailer for Tree of Life at a studio. Yeah driving all the way there, or just watching the trailer when you go see Black Swan. Hm.
