Anime Characters For Governor

JBellows	post #1  on August 28, 2003 - 12:56 PM PDT   I'm only funnin'. But just for the heck of it, what anime characters would you like to see on the California recall ballot? And...these need to be from anime available from GC. Example: Excel, of Excel Saga. Why? Her personality really shines through and she shows determination and charisma. And its time to have a woman in the boys only club.
jstack	post #2  on August 28, 2003 - 2:30 PM PDT   Kintaro Oe from Golden Boy. Definitely a likeable character. An extremely hard worker (especially when it comes to toilets), very smart, honest, and just an all around fun guy with loads of charisma.

He's my favorite cool bad guy in all anime (well, really nobody in Giant Robo is really deep-down evil, except for that Big Fire guy with the black panther), then again, I can't think of an uncool anime character who wears an eyepatch. (although those of you who watch way more anime than I do probably can.)

If she can run the whole ship and keep that crew from blowing up the Nadesico, then she can keep the various CA crises in line with some help from Omoikane. (I think her debugging skills are a bit better than Skuld's as well :p)

(don't forget to check out the extras of Berserk people!) Perhaps Belldandy is a bit too nice? If we're choosing a goddess, my vote goes to Peorth! (she's got some of the attitude of Urd, power of Belldandy and probably is the grown-up version of Skuld)... damn.. been watching too much anime.. :)

He'll steer our troubled ship of state into the spacedock of prosperity and still get 12 hours of sleep a night. Plus, he's got a strong military background and proven experience in foreign relations, so we could run him for president in a couple years. (Although, I think I'd have a hard time voting against Ed ...)
