I did read that the FOX News guy who got fired for reviewing the bootleg download said it "surpassed expectations" , whatever that means. It'll be worth a matinee to me, so I'm going. But I am a former X-men fan boy so I'm pretty much obligated.

I'm not too excited for this one, but maybe if I read some of the comics I'd be more inclined. Is this flick supposed to be a riff off a bunch of books or just a few? I wouldn't trust the reviews of the leaked screener - from the screen shots I saw it's very unfinished.

So knowing how I feel about X-Men 3 now you know how bad I thought the bootleg was. I had high hopes too...Gambit was in it for f***'s sake!

I may wait til I can use one of my free passes for it. I've seen prints of things sans special effects though and knew whether or not I liked the story/acting in the past so I'm not getting my hopes up for my mind being changed unfortunately.
